Hello friends,

I hope you are well and I hope you’ve had some life affirming summer fruit lately.

If the season has kicked things into gear for you like it has for me, I want to offer a gentle reminder to be mindful of your energy and to take rest when you need it. Consider rest and action as partners - it’s hard to effectively do one without the other.

To encourage rest, I wrote and recorded a complimentary Yoga Nidra meditation. The meditation is a visualization for the Lion’s Gate portal. You can read more about this astrological event with the link to the meditation at the bottom of the newsletter. Would love to hear if you give it a go!

SESSIONS AT THE MOON SANCTUARY

If you didn’t see my recent post on Instagram, I’m now offering private sessions at The Moon Sanctuary in Atwater Village. I’ve known about this place for awhile, but after a recent workshop there, I saw how it’s such a lovely space for clients to receive healing. Just select “The Moon Sanctuary” in the location drop down when you book your session.

I’ve missed the KIN community in Walnut. I’m excited to offer an 8am Saturday morning class starting this month through October. If you’re thinking “You had me at free, but what the heck is a portal for lions and why should I be excited about this?” keep reading…

The Lion’s Gate portal is an annual celestial event which takes place when the Sun in Leo (hence “lion”), Sirius - the brightest star in our night sky, Orion’s Belt, and the Earth align. Ancients believed that this creates a portal through which powerful energy flows to Earth, peaking on 8/8.

Mythology, characteristics of the stars involved, and the number 8 (eighth day of the eighth month) are said to create optimal conditions for manifestation, up leveling, and abundance.
